Jax and Kano awake gingerly from the explosion while the gunfight between Stryker's men and the Black Dragon clan continues. Sonya sneaks up behind three of Kano's men and maliciously kills them. She then enters a security control room. Upon observing Kano running from Jax on a closed-circuit monitor, she flees to find them.

Jax, still demanding to know where Sonya is being held, engages another fist fight with Kano, who continues to taunt him with threats against Sonya. This sets Jax off in a rage and he retaliates with increasing force. After savagely beating Kano into a stupor, Jax lands one final left hook squarely on Kano's eye, cracking the socket and dislodging his eyeball. Sonya arrives to see Kano unconscious and Jax resting. She takes out one final henchman but not before he tosses a grenade towards her partner. Jax rises and runs towards Sonya to keep her safe from the blast.

What can I say, I was blown away with the opening sequence as if my imagination when I was reading the novels turned to reality. I was amazed how they depicted the Great Ice wall and also the land of Westeros especially Winterfell. * If you have a hard time knowing the geography of Westeros, it is basically like Italy with 7 kingdoms (Like Rome,Naples,Turin etc.), it has a wall on the north that blocks off other clans, and on the west across the ocean is Pentos were the heir of the Mad King resides. Think Westeros as Italy, the northern wall is somewhat the Rubicon which separates the Old roman empire from the Gauls and across the Mediterranean is Greece which is depicted as Pentos here. Some little history for you.

The biggest news in the gaming world last week was the rumors about Nintendo’s Wii 2, also known as ‘Project Café’. And maybe two of the talk about topics about it are its processor and its controller. According to rumors, Project Café’s processor is much powerful compared to the Xbox360 and PS3, it seems as no surprise to me because when I think about it,  PS3’s CPU, CELL, a 3.2 GHZ microprocessor that was developed by Sony with IBM and Toshiba is already old and in fact, the one inside the PS3 is the first commercial model which is really under par with the new CELL processors being made today. The Xbox360 uses a CPU which is as powerful as the CELL but has an architectural difference compared to the CELLS as this one uses 3 cores vs. a single core for the CELL.

Opera

I recently changed browser from Orca and Chrome to just one browser which is Opera. I was looking for a browser that has the features of Orca/Avant that I really liked and the performance of Chrome. I really liked Orca (have been using it for 4 years) because it makes my browsing experience a lot easier with its address nickname features, its online password storage and mouse gestures. But with its aging engine (Firefox 3.0), I’m starting to feel its downside with the newer sites that uses the latest CCS and HTML commands and keeps on crashing with multiple tabs streaming videos (about 10 – 15 websites at once). I decided to move all my bookmarks and passwords to chrome because of its performance with the newer sites but I was quickly turned off because of the lack of features and stupid plug-ins.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (what a long title) is a prequel to the Planet of the Apes series, The 5 original films not the 2001 Tim Burton Debacle. If you don’t know what the planet of the apes is about, it is basically chronicles the fall of mankind and the rise of some kick ass intelligent apes through the eyes of George Taylor and some protagonist apes.

* Unboxing video is here

I was looking for a new gaming keyboard for a while now, I was really disappointed with my past keyboard, the OCZ Alchemy Elixir, it had faulty software with Windows 7 and just plain bad hardware design especially its polling algorithm.

So I was researching for keyboard, there are few simple rules I follow when buying a keyboard, 1) Never buy a Razer Product (I Simply hate Razer products, their product is over expensive, the so called feature(s) can easily be found on a cheaper hardware *and works much better than Razer's, Software and Hardware are faulty and does not work well) *Don’t believe me, ask the forums, not those Razer fan boy forums, of course they will defend Razer because they are the few who bought it and had to live with their poor choice. 2) It should have tons of Macro buttons, If you haven't use macros,  you are truly missing out. 3) It should have a backlight, I rarely turn the lights up on my room. 4) It should have Media Control Buttons, I don't like having to exert myself to use a mouse then point the pointer to those small media buttons just to pause or stop a movie I’m watching.

A group of hackers is threating Sony that they will hack their website and the PlayStation store.

It seems that Anonymous is demanding that Sony would allow free distribution of information, in other words, allow piracy and jailbreaks.

This is a response by Anonymous to Sony’s action against George Hotz (legal actions), the one who first cracked the internal gates of the PS3.
