One of my most anticipated game is Rockstar’s LA Noire. This project started on the year 2004 and after almost 6 years, it will be releasing this May. LA Noire is not your typical Sand box games, where you go point to point and completing missions after missions. Rockstar introduced some new innovation with the story ,gameplay and the whole art design.

The setting of the story is 1947 Los Angeles, as the players will be given some series of murders to solve. The theme as usual is adult oriented, as there will be a lot of Crimes, sex, drugs and moral decisions. Like 1947 movies, the game visual style with feature a lot of Black and White Harsh and Low-Key lighting. The soundtrack will full of jazz music and staying realistic to the game.

The story revolves around Cole Phelps as he tries to solve series of murders. As he tries to solve murders after murders, Cole will get promoted through the ranks of LAPD. As he rises to the top, he learns the corruption around the LAPD itself.
The gameplay is based on a crime game with a bit of action involved. As you try solving cases, you have to look for clues yourself, interviewing people and determining who are the suspect is. Like in real life, making the wrong accusation is possible in this game. One of the best innovation with this game is the facial expressions of the characters as they are vital in solving cases.
Investigation and Interrogation Trailer
Rockstar outdid their past game by giving importance to the facial expressions of the characters. They used a new technology called MotionScan, where actors are recorded by 32 surrounding cameras to capture facial expression from every angle. Instead of just focusing on voice actors, Rockstar hired actual actors for the characters. Aaron Staton (Ken Cosgrove of Mad Men) plays the lead role, Cole Phelps. Sean McGowan (CSI, 24), Alexa Alemanni (Mad Men) and Cutter Garcia (Hannah Montana) joins the cast.

Expect LA NOIRE to hit the stores on May 17,2011 for Xbox360 and PS3
That’s all for now
Peace Out!!

Crime solving doesn’t get better than this
