Game Preview–Battlefield 3 ~ I think Activision needs to step up their game
* I decided to make the Weekly Eijan Recommendation article, a weekend thing because I always seem to be busy every friday night. I think Sunday morning or afternoon would be a perfect time to post it, so stay Tune
It seems that EA is really putting the Uhmph to Activision’s Call of Duty, Battlefield started as a poor version of Call of Duty as its single player campaign was forgetful and the only good thing to come out of it is the multiplayer as one of the best.
But it seems EA really up the ANTE as it decided to put some financial backing to Battlefield 3 and it seems to payoff as they decided to use a new engine running parallel to its current engine which is the FrostBite 2.0. The new engine would be ANT, it is the same engine EA uses in their FIFA games which made FIFA king of videogame football because of the realism of the body movements and collisions. It seems that Battlefield 3’s single player campaign would be the main priority for developer’s DICE as they already have the multiplayer in the bag.
Battlefield 3 is to be released in late 2011
Here are the trailers of the new single player campaign, it is divided to 3 episodes, enjoy
That’s all for now
Peace Out
