'Did you hear about the Morgans' is a romantic comedy movie starring Hugh Grant ( Music and Lyrics, Notting Hill, About a boy) and Sarah Jessica Parker ( Sex and the City). The movie is about a recently separated husband and wife who found themselves in trouble and eventually was forced to stay together in a far secluded country and hoping to spark the gone romance between them while hiding from the bad guys. I saw the movie last week, and i really like Hugh Grant's performance in all of his film, also in this one, his acting approach (which is not caring about his character and not going with the 'being in character' approach) is a welcome sight to movie viewers. By avoiding being in love with character, Hugh can be just Hugh, throw a little bit of sarcasm and joke there and people love it. I'm not a fan of the acting of Sarah Jessica Parker to begin with, and somehow i still see the irritating persona of Carrie Bradshaw here in this movie. Overall, the mixture between the two actors is just awkward and unromantic, thrown in a weak plot and you got a not so good movie here. But some quirky humor from Hugh and Sarah Jessica saved the movie from being a total mess, but some jokes that they told in the film were really lame and failed to make the audience to laugh which is another reason that made the movie not that appealing. And finally the plot was weak and so predictable that after watching the trailer below, i bet you can already guess the whole plot of the movie. As a conclusion, the movie failed to capitalize their actor's appeal by throwing them a weak plot and some really dull lines.
PROS: Hugh is still good ol' Hugh, Some lines are comedic
CONS: Dull lines, Weak Plot, Movie was too long for its genre (2 hours)
Due to time constraints and concentration, i wasn't able to create a video about the assembly of 'Cordoba' but i was able to take a lot of pictures during the 4-5 hours assembly. 'Cordoba' is the first PC i made from scratch from all the calculations of maximum wattage, the capacity of the 12V rails and to the maximum theoretical overclock ability of the whole system, everything was researched and thought by me, so 'Cordoba' is really special to me. I used to buy those package systems from computer manufacturers like Dell or HP and then upgrading the parts like crazy but one thing that really irritates me is the limitation of this system to upgrades especially when you realized that you can't upgrade this pc with a particular hardware you want because of compatibility after using it for the last 2 years, that part really irritates me. With 'Cordoba', i know the strengths and limitation of the system and upgrading it is less of a hassle than those pre-build PCs.
These are all the hardware that i will be using to build 'Cordoba', its Frankenstein 101
Removed RV02 from the box, this thing is heavy; already weighing 28 pounds just the case alone. I had a sore back the next day because of lifting it over and over again
Removed the cloth cover of the RV02, This the top cover of the case, see all the air holes
This is a nice explanation of the Stack cooling of the Raven series, this test was done on the RV01, take note, RV02 has better Stack cooling characteristics,Cool ain't it.
This is the bottom part of the front panel, the logo of the RAVEN series is embossed on it; one sick logo by the way
This is the Side panel window of the RV02 still with protective plastic on it
This is the top of the RV02 without the air hole cover on it, as you can see there is a lot of air holes even to the Expansion slot covers
The inside of the case
Those are the tool less locks for your 5.25" drive bays and also at the bottom is the removable HDD cage This is the removable and washable dust filters for those massive 180mm fans
Unboxing the Logitech X-210 Speakers
This is the Logitech X-210 unboxed
Removed all the hardware from their boxes, lets get it on!

Another closer look
Removed the other side panel of the RVO2, this is where you gonna run all those cables coming form the PSU
Starting point, attach the PSU to the case
Unscrewed a part of the case,so that the PSU mounting would be easier
The PSU is now mounted to the case
Had an easy time mounting the PSU to case, took me just around 10 minutes.
Next step was to attach the CPU to the Motherboard but first i had to get it from my Dell Optiplex 755 system, *Tanan, this is the inside of the Optiplex, its all dusty.
First time removing the CPU cooler since i acquired the system 2.5 years ago, and the accumulated dust looks like ashes that came from mt. Pinatubo
The dusty and thermal paste covered Q6600
Removed the Q6600 from the Optiplex 755's Mobo
Cleaned and attached it to the ASUS P5Q SE PLUS mobo
Attached the OCZ Vendetta 2 Cpu Cooler on top of the Q6600, the easy installation feature that the Vendetta 2 bragged about...took me 2 hours to install it perfectly to the mobo, Those damn push pins won't lock with the mobo, had to remove and reaaply thermal paste like 3 times.
Mounting the DVD RW drive to the case
Locking it with the Tool less lock
Mounted the Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB to the HDD cage
Mounted the MOBO to the case and also mounted the 2x2gb Patriot Gamer Series Rams and HiS Radeon 5770
Attached the cables to their intended slots, due to some stupid placement of some power slots especially the 24pin Mobo power slot which is located on the middle of the Mobo, the mobo is preventing me with some good cable management because of this imperfection
A closer look
The Maiden boot up
Maiden Bootup was a success, installed Windows 7 Home Professional 64-bit and Linux
Comparing the height of the Optiplex 755 and RV02, the Optiplex 755 is a Mid Tower
The Length
Thats how long the RV02 compared to your ordinary tower
The backside
Finally, Cordoba is fully set up Side Panel Window
Much Better Cable Management
That's all for now
Tune in tomorrow for the benchies of Cordoba and the addicting world of Overclocking

Let finish these spoilers up
*Unfortunately i didn't create any unboxing videos but i took unboxing pictures..BUT!! i'm to lazy to open my laptop tonight, i'll just post the pictures on my next post which about the assembly of "Cordoba"
CASE The Silverstone Raven casing are the first casing that utilized the 90 degree placement of the motherboard. I chose the RV02 because of its better air flow compared to the RV01 and also the price. I'm not saying the RV02 is cheap but its a lot cheaper compared to the RV01 which cost 11.5k while the RV02 only cost 8.5k. But in terms of performance and air flow the RV02 kicks the RV01 butt. The reason behind the 90 degree mounting of the mobo is that because of the science of air, especially the rule of hot air rising. On a normal case the main issue with temperature is that your GPU (vidcard) is directly affected by the hot air coming from your CPU, which causes your GPU temperature to rise, Silverstone addressed this problem and also the thing that i liked with these case is that its not your ordinary full tower case instead of adding on height, it added on its length, measuring an outstanding 28inches, your ordinary tower has a length of 18inches. This is one long and very cool and also at the same time unique case. For a better description check out the vid below
SPEAKER My old speaker is an Bismark 2.1 Speaker, it did its job but due to time and constant sound abuses, its no longer that great, so a new 2.1 speaker is must. My first plan was going with an 5.1 Speaker but the problem with those speakers are the messy wires that comes with them and trust me, the sight of seeing wires makes me mad, so i decided to go with an 2.1 Speaker instead primarily because of easy wire management. I decided to go with an Logitech X-210, according to the reviews i read, its performance is unparallel to its value, its almost on par with the expensive Altec Lansing speakers. Costing only 1.5k, these speakers really pack a whallop. Check out the Vid below of the Sub that the speaker came with *note i had a hard time typing this post because i was listening to some uptempo music and the mouse cursor keeps on moving because of the vibration that came from the sub, and i had it only at 10%
Now its all complete, i will post another topic tomorrow about the assembly of "Cordoba"
As we all know it takes a lot of sacrifice to be the best on something, but i never thought that Professional gaming takes that much sacrifice, i thought its all talent like Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel, who became a world champ in unreal tournament after only playing the game for 3 weeks..so if you really want to be a pro gamer or curious about their sacrifices; check out this video

I highlighted all the new spoilers that i will be talking about in this post
Video Card The Radeon 5770 is part of the 5000 series of ATI, this series are the first video card that support DX11, i chose the 5770 because its the perfect mid-budget card, its above those budget cards and below those 'for enthusiast only' cards. And i'm only using one 1440x900 lcd monitor, and if i were to take a new monitor and if the vidcard struggles with the resolution then Crossfire is another cheap alternative. 2x 5770 is a lot cheaper than a single 5800 card which ranges from 18-21k here in the Philippines. As you can see the crossfire is almost as close as the 25k 5870
CPU COOLER A good cpu cooler is a must especially if your to overclock the CPU, it will make tons of difference. My original plan was to go with the expensive and yet sick ass looking Cooler Master V8 but when i read it's benchmarking i wasn't impressed with its cooling ability, its aesthetic might look sick but its performance per value is very bad, so i had to look for another cooler and i found this, the OCZ Vendetta2. The Vendetta 2 only costs 1,700 here in the Philippines compared to the 2.8k price of the V8, but the Vendetta 2 has the best air cooling, only the water cooling beats it. Here are some benchies of the Vendetta 2, this cooler has the best Price per Celsius performance, OCZ is now becoming my favorite brand because of their straight to the point products
POWER SUPPLY UNIT A good PSU is a must, that's why i'm going with the SILVERSTONE ST50F 500w modular PSU, Silverstone is one more the top tier brands in computer parts, and their Power supplies has the best efficiency. I chose this PSU because i tried calculating my load and if my calculation is right, my system only uses 425W in full load (which doesn't happen anyway) and going with a higher PSU is out of the question, another cool feature of this PSU is that it's modular, which means you can easily remove all the wires that is not connected to your system for better cable management and more importantly, for better airflow.
Well that's all for now, tune in tomorrow for the rest of the spoilers
